I hope it will be close to VBS2 as possable. Well in someway Probaly The long grass should be removed, for better and faster gameplay,i dount know how the long grass will appear in OFP2 but in arma its useless, you can see the grass only like 20m... and the weapon sounds...well yeah Only place were ive heard normal Game Sounds are in,ACE mod Arma (really loud and realistic earring) And the tank,i saw in the Video Goosh The Turrent is so fast like,in BF2 or something Well i Dount want that!some Battlefield Freaks Playin OFP2 Sick stuff like that must be changed to,turret speeds and more breathing effects, recoil, You know regular stuff. I really liked What they did to BF2...I mean Project Reality thats worth tons more than BF2 original. And Such Teamplay stuff is nessery to keep some Counter-Srtike Freaks Out OFP2 and Arma2 and Stuff like that For good. Hope you guys agree on that Hope you guys are already gatthering a good team of modders and other guys. For an example:If you would do a mod like vbs2 for Arma, shied I would pay you like 15 bucks.i think Alot Of people would. well my english sucks anyway so,luck`y if anyone understands About the coutries,I Think Good old Russian.Usa.and Res. But yeah...Hope you guys Really gonna Make something worth reputation

Well this won't be a training sim, it might be a bit of a VBS2 "lite", we are aiming for a lot more realism and depth than the stock OFP2. As far as sounds, grass, and turrets, we obviously need to see that stuff ingame to get an idea of where we need changes and additions, but also in reality the M1 turret can do a 360 pretty d**n fast.

Keep in mind in that vid they're not turning the turret as fast as it goes. It can do 360 degrees in 9 seconds.

Alright.thats a fackt now.But what to you think of the recoil?I think its to low and always the same way,in real life you never know in wich direction the blowback will come. To Own Project Reality?

I don't really understand what you mean, recoil is pretty consistent, a rifle is not going to kick in some strange direction every so often.
Also I don't own or have anything to do with project reality, if that's what your saying?

I hope you guys decide to use some of the applications VBS2 has. Have both the mssion editor and possibly the real time editor (while in game). Be able to record the mission for playback in an After Action Review format with round count, enemy KIA, WIA along with Friendly Forces. Expand the terrain maps to reflect current operations around the world Phillipines, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Build civilian populations along with the Host Nation military forces and Insurgent groups, Guerrillas etc. Build Special Operartions units; US Army Special Forces, etc., be able to conduct HALO and Static Line Parachute infiltration. smoke greandes, chemlights, Fire Fly lights. Have the ablility to measure objects (distance) both vertically and horizontally. Place demolition charges and with remote detonation. Have the soldiers use the 3 point sling for rilfes, and be able to trainsition from rifle to pistol the proper way. Utilize hand and arm signals. Just a few ideas.

Well, a lot of that depends on how making the "core pack" goes and what the game engine lets us do. However, I've always thought expanded stats/AAR is cool feature, but realistically not a top priority for us, it'd be added if we had the time to do it. Iraq/Afghanistan are possible in the future, but once again I can't comment on anything beyond phase 1.
Simple things like smoke grenades/chem lights/demo charges/etc are all probably going to be in phase 1, along with US Army, Navy, and Air Force SOF. Hand signals depend on a number of technical factors, if their already supported in game we can expand on them easily.

Glad to hear that, these developments would fall in line with your Combat Simulation Project, also gives you the ability to mission plan and rehearse, play ot back, create different courses of action, and choose the best one for the mission. Are you also looking into the ability to change equipment based on a mission?

Hmmm.... a coop night might not be a bad idea. Trick is scheduling it when people have free time and getting a good server so that people on both sides of the Atlantic can get a good ping. I'll certainly look into it and see what our options are. I'll talk to some other people in the OFP community and see about a bit more universal OFP community coop night and server. If I can get anything started, I'll post an update.
